Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirementsBuild and manage database tables and relationships, foreign/primary keys, and normalizing table structuresBuild and manage the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and implement solutionsImplement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is accurate and availableTranslate business requirements into sustainable and efficient visualizations and reportingIdentify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processesPerform quality assurance checks on new or enhanced reportsPerform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issuesDocument work and updating technical documentation and end-user job aidsWork with stakeholders and assist them with data-related technical issuesPerform root-cause analysis, identify and resolve data reporting issues in a timely fashionPerform end-user deskside services upon request by Level 1 Helpdesk team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or similar field5-7+ years prior database work experience; including Data Engineering/IT/Data Analytic experienceStrong experience working with MS SQL Server including Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)Structured Query Language (SQL)Excel knowledgeExperience troubleshooting issues by formulating a structured methodology to achieve root-cause analysisSince this is a business facing role, you must have strong communication skills to interact effectively with various users and serve as a liaison between users and ITOrganization, interpersonal, patience, and self-motivation skillsMust have independent judgement and decision making abilitiesMust be comfortable with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
