Position Responsibilities:
This role encompasses working on projects related to wet infrastructure, including wastewater, stormwater, potable water, and recycled water systems, as well as water treatment systems and flood management studies.

Key Duties Include:
1. **Design Development:**
- Create concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for wet infrastructure.
- Analyze and organize collected data.
- Develop design briefs and technical notes.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software.
- Perform essential design calculations and develop design reports.
- Oversee the creation of design drawings and specifications, including bill of quantities and cost estimates.

2. **Team Collaboration:**
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to address design challenges.
- Coordinate with other discipline teams and remote teams to ensure project completion.
- Engage with subconsultants and subcontractors to facilitate project tasks.

3. **Safety and Compliance:**
- Adhere to safe work practices and company policies.
- Ensure all work aligns with Stantec's Core Values and Quality Systems, including Health & Safety procedures.
- Design with safety as a priority.

4. **Client and Stakeholder Engagement:**
- Organize and participate in meetings with clients to gather data and discuss technical solutions.
- Follow up on utility corridor NOCs with stakeholders.

5. **Additional Responsibilities:**
- Undertake other duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the master planning and design of large-scale wet infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, InfoWater, InfoSewer, WaterGems, SewerGems, and InfoWorks.
- Professional accreditation (Chartership/PE or equivalent) from recognized engineering institutions such as ICE, CIWEM, or Engineer Australia, or actively pursuing such accreditation.
