An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong>Director of Finance/strong> to join thestrong> Finance/strong> team in strong>Jumeirah Living Marina Gate/strong>. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including preparation and review of financial statements.Establish robust cash management controls, prepare cash flow forecasts, and oversee reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.Supervise the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of financial reports, while also providing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.Direct the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, establish major financial objectives and policies, and conduct analysis to minimize variances and maximize return on investment.Contribute financial insights and recommendations to strategic planning processes, establish functional objectives aligned with organizational goals, and prepare long-term capital and operational projections.Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders such as owners, asset managers, and corporate teams, reporting on financial performance, acting as a business advisor, and addressing specific requirements.Desired Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting or Professional accreditation e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CMA.Software competencies Microsoft Office programs (Advanced)Leadership and team management skillsProject Management Skills
