Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven
Finance Director
to lead the financial planning and operations of a major UAE-based organization. This executive-level role will be responsible for shaping financial strategy, overseeing budgeting and compliance, and driving digital transformation across the finance function. Reporting to the VP of Shared Services, the Finance Director will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, ensuring strong governance, fiscal resilience, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement long-term financial strategies to support organizational objectives and national priorities.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and financial reporting across all departments, ensuring transparency and cost control.
  • Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations and internal control frameworks, while actively managing risk.
  • Lead the modernization of finance operations, including automation and system transformation for improved decision-making.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, including at least 4 years at the senior level.
  • Proven track record in financial strategy, budgeting, compliance, and leading transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners.
  • Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is required.
