Position Overview

The Regional Director of Sales – GCC is responsible for driving commercial performance, strengthening market presence, and lead the TTP  sales team and their initiatives across the Gulf Cooperation Council region. This role oversees strategic planning, market development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure sustainable revenue growth for the company and its clients. The position is based in Dubai and reports directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Strategic Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the GCC Sales Team to achieve regional revenue targets and performance KPIs.
  • Engage with the Managing Director on a weekly basis to align strategies, share insights, and ensure cohesive execution across markets.
  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the GCC market, including segmentation, channel prioritization, and competitive positioning.
  • Implement, monitor, and refine sales strategies to ensure measurable impact and continuous improvement.

2. Market Development & Client Engagement

  • Conduct sales missions to travel agencies, corporate accounts, MICE agencies, wholesalers, and other key partners across the GCC region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hoteliers, industry partners, airlines, banks, and corporate clients to enhance visibility and drive revenue.
  • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of rates, contracts, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Represent the company and its clients at trade shows, industry events, roadshows, and networking functions.

3. Business Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide strategic and operational support to the Managing Director on all matters related to the GCC territory.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, branding initiatives, trade activities, and special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure proper representation and positioning of company clients across all relevant channels and platforms.
  • Prepare detailed activity reports, market updates, and client feedback summaries for internal stakeholders and clients.

4. Market Intelligence & Performance Optimization

  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the GCC region.
  • Contribute to increasing the company's market share and improving overall marketing yield.
  • Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across sales activities.
  • Support the company's reporting systems, CRM tools, and internal processes to enhance data accuracy and operational effectiveness.

5. Familiarization & Representation

  • Organize and lead trade familiarization trips to strengthen partner engagement and product knowledge.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions, ensuring alignment with brand values and commercial objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support company representation and business development in the GCC.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, or related sectors, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong network within the GCC travel trade, corporate, and MICE segments.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving market growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
