Promotion Manager — FX/CFD Brokerage

Our client, a global FX/CFD brokerage firm currently in the process of obtaining its SCA Category 5 license in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Promotion Manager. This role is responsible for designing, managing, and executing compliant promotional and marketing campaigns for financial products and services within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will ensure all promotional initiatives support the firm's strategic growth objectives while fully adhering to SCA advertising and conduct standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute promotional strategies and marketing campaigns aligned with the firm's SCA Category 5 licensing scope.
  • Ensure all marketing content and promotional activities strictly comply with SCA advertising standards, disclosure requirements, and conduct rules.
  • Oversee creation and approval of promotional materials across digital platforms, events, print, and social media channels.
  • Work closely with compliance, legal, product, and sales teams, as well as external agencies, to deliver approved campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance KPIs, ROI, acquisition, and engagement metrics; recommend optimizations.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory developments, industry standards, and market trends; adjust promotional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain strong internal governance around promotion approval processes, documentation, audit trails, and risk controls.
  • Provide guidance and internal training on compliant marketing practices in a regulated financial environment.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective promotional execution aligned with organizational goals.

Regulatory & Compliance Environment

  • Strong understanding of SCA Category 5 promotional obligations, scope, and restrictions.
  • Experience designing promotions within regulated financial markets (broker-dealer, asset management, investment services, or FX/CFD brokerage preferred).
  • Knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and best practices in compliant financial product advertising.
  • High level of attention to governance, approvals, documentation control, and audit readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' marketing/promotion experience, with preference for financial services and regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated success running multi-channel campaigns (digital, events, partnerships) with measurable results.
  • Strong knowledge of financial product promotion, client acquisition strategies, and regulatory advertising guidelines.
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
