About the Role

Uber for Business is experiencing exponential growth, and we are seeking a team of strong Business Development Representatives to propel our business forward at this exciting time. Reporting into the Country Manager for the Middle East, you'll work closely with the other BDRs, Account Executives and the broader Sales Operations team to increase Uber for Business in KSA and UAW. You will achieve this through acquiring new private & public sector customers.

We need highly motivated self-starters who thrive on challenges and relish a team environment of natural problem solvers. Our suite of products has expanded significantly in recent years, so we're seeking an all-rounder who has the drive to sell holistically across an organisation with passion, poise, and energy.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
- What the Candidate Will Do -

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline in an assigned vertical or territory and partner with assigned Account Executives
  • Outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and marketing campaigns
  • Hit assigned Key Performance Metrics that are not limited to, a number of outreaches per day and qualified opportunities created per month.
  • Uncover a prospect's business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities, while highlighting the Uber for Business value proposition.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives at targeted accounts.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Uber, industry trends, and competition.
  • Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using Salesforce
  • Work closely with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and make recommendations to close sales and ensure customer loyalty more effectively
  • Work effectively with internal departments to deliver the best solution for the client and ensure an excellent experience.
  • Travel to attend tradeshows or other client meetings when requested or necessary.

  • Basic Qualifications -

  • 18+ months of B2B sales/business development experience is highly preferred.

  • A history of consistently exceeding KPIs and activity targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to obtain the necessary information from the prospect, while also ensuring a mutually beneficial conversation.
  • To be driven and excited about a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent organisation, project management and time management skills, and ability to take initiative.
  • Advanced proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Salesforce proficiency is a plus
