Job Description

Responsible for designing and developing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, ICT infrastructure, and related technologies for large-scale projects. This includes SCADA, Instrumentation, Fire & Gas systems, Security systems, Telecom networks, and Structured Cabling solutions. The role requires advanced technical design skills, compliance with international and local standards, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilies include:

  • Prepare detailed design drawings, schematics, and BOQs for ELV systems (SCADA, BMS, Fire & Gas, CCTV, Access Control, PA/BGM).
  • Develop ICT network designs including LAN/WAN, fiber optic layouts, and structured cabling.
  • Ensure compliance with standards (TIA/EIA, IEC, NFPA, DEWA, Etisalat/DU, TDRA).
  • Create Single Line Diagrams, GA drawings, and system architecture documents, Data sheets etc.
  • Perform load calculations, redundancy analysis, and network capacity planning.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for design approvals.
  • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Coordination with Multidiscipline for Space planning and Designing of ELV/ICT Systems
  • Develop Underground Dry Utilities Networks
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Certifications in ELV/ICT systems (e.g., CCNA, BICSI RCDD) preferred.
  • 8–10 years of experience in design and engineering of ELV and ICT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of ELV systems: SCADA, Fire & Gas, CCTV, Access Control, BMS.
  • Expertise in ICT systems: LAN/WAN, fiber optics, structured cabling.
  • Familiarity with telecom standards (Etisalat, DU) and DEWA specifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ACC, MS Visio, and network design tools.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles for industrial networks.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
