NikNak PR is growing and we're looking for an experienced, proactive
Freelance PR Manager
to join us on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves building real relationships, delivering meaningful coverage, and thinking outside the PR box.

female-founded, hospitality, lifestyle, wellness, and F&B space
s, and are purpose-driven brands that deserve smart strategy, thoughtful storytelling, and PR with heart.

If you're a self-starter who thrives in boutique agency environments and can work with minimal hand-holding, you'll fit right in.

Role Overview

You will work closely with the Founder and wider team to
implement PR strategies
, manage day-to-day client communications, and ensure campaigns run smoothly from concept to coverage.

This role is
not
about mass send-outs; it's about strategic, quality media placements, fresh ideas, and building strong relationships on behalf of our clients.

What You'll Do

Client Management & Delivery

  • Support and implement PR strategies across brands
  • Lead day-to-day client communication
  • Join meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure follow-ups are completed
  • Manage monthly planning, trackers, coverage reports, and deliverables
  • Support the team with execution across accounts

Media Relations & Storytelling

  • Pitch thoughtful, tailored stories to Tier 1 regional publications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and producers
  • Identify unique angles and creative ways to secure quality coverage
  • Provide reactive commentary opportunities by monitoring trends and news

Influencer Engagement

  • Manage influencer outreach for events and product send-outs
  • Work with relevant creators to support client campaigns
  • Build relationships with influencers and talent managers

Creative Strategy

  • Think outside the box to find original ideas, hooks, and content moments
  • Bring fresh thinking to events, collaborations, and partnership opportunities
  • Proactively bring suggestions, not wait for instructions

Team Support & Development

  • Mentor and guide junior team members
  • Help develop their skills in writing, pitching, media relations, and client servicing
  • Provide constructive feedback and hands-on support to strengthen their confidence and capabilities
  • Foster a positive, learning-focused team culture

What We're Looking For

  • 4–7+ years PR experience
    (agency or in-house - boutique agency experience a bonus)
  • Proven track record securing coverage in
    Tier 1 publications
  • Strong relationships with lifestyle, business, wellness, and F&B media
  • Confident with influencers and understanding who moves the needle
  • Comfortable working with minimal hand-holding - proactive, organised, and reliable
  • Excellent writing skills (press releases, bios, pitches, talking points)
  • Creative thinker who enjoys finding unique angles and new opportunities
  • Someone who genuinely cares about quality, not quantity
  • Dubai-based or with strong UAE media knowledge
