Sr. Sales Engineer - GPS / Telematics Systems

Job description

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving B2B sales of TrackIT's GPS/ telematics–based Fleet Management and Turnaround Monitoring solutions. Your primary focus will be on managing sales and business development initiatives that contribute directly to revenue growth. You will work closely with technical pre-sales and support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience—from initial engagement through post-implementation expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Support go-to-market and business development initiatives for GPS / telematics solutions across aviation, logistics, infrastructure, and fleet-heavy industries.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage leads while building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Conduct client meetings, solution presentations, and demonstrations with support from technical pre-sales teams
  • Engage senior stakeholders to understand needs and position solutions accordingly.
  • Development and management of channel partners and strategic alliances where applicable
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with support from the technical team.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and account profiling to support sales strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 2 - 4 years of proven sales experience in GPS tracking, telematics, IoT, or fleet management solutions
  • Demonstrated track record of closing enterprise deals and managing high-value accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with GPS tracking hardware (e.g., Teltonika, Queclink, Ruptela) and platform ecosystems.
  • Experience selling into the aviation sector or large logistics/infrastructure organizations is a strong advantage.
  • Understanding of airport ground operations, vehicle/equipment tracking, or air cargo environments.
  • Experience working with partners or system integrators in the region.
