Al Douri Group is seeking a talented Quality Manager.

Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Food safety Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (FSSC 22K, ISO 22K, HACCP, Kosher, HALAL & FDA).
  • Develop and implement comprehensive food safety and quality programs with clear cross-functional procedures.
  • Lead internal and external audits; coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on food safety and quality requirements.
  • Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings and implementation of improvement actions.
  • To standardize food safety compliance across all UAE retail sites, ensuring operational uniformity.
  • Enhance staff competency and compliance through targeted training, coaching, and supervision of food safety.
  • Ensure all SOPs, forms, and quality documents are controlled and updated.
  • Oversee testing and inspection activities for raw materials, WIP, and finished products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments and other teams to resolve quality issues.
  • To handle customer complaints and lead teams in investigation.
  • To develop team in Handling any non-conformances & timely escalation to internal & external parties.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and industry requirements.
  • To perform data analysis on various quality reports.
  • To develop departmental KPIs and team KPI.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to leadership team.
  • To support retail in implementation of quality requirements respective to relevant emirates.
  • To handle master data for Quality management in Microsoft 365 dynamic.
  • Support cross functionally to develop new artwork or development of existing artwork.
  • Review and approve product specifications, labels, COAs, and quality documents.
  • Escalate any potential food safety risks or conduct recall activities.

Skills or Competencies:

  • FSSC Lead auditor/Internal auditor
  • PIC
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety regulations, and certification standards (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher)
  • Nebosh certificate
  • Experience with audits (internal, supplier, regulatory).
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Fluent in English (Read, write and speak).
