Job Overview:

Seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, manage schedules, and ensure seamless leasing of vehicles.

The successful candidate will lead a team in the operations department, maintain efficiency, ensure customer satisfaction, and leverage UAE sector networks to expand the customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management

  • Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and availability of vehicles.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly serviced and ready for customer use.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and coordinate repairs.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Lead customer support efforts to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of service, including timely pick-ups and returns.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.

Business Development & Networking

  • Utilize existing networks in the UAE sector to generate new customers and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to increase market reach.

Team Leadership and Training

  • Manage and train staff, including rental agents, maintenance teams, and customer service representatives.
  • Provide ongoing training on operational procedures, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
  • Motivate the team to achieve performance goals and deliver outstanding service.

Operational Efficiency

  • Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, vehicle rentals, and returns.
  • Implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate vehicle procurement and disposal.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets and oversee rental pricing strategies.
  • Ensure financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
  • Prepare reports and analyze rental performance for upper management.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure operations comply with all UAE laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor safety procedures to prevent accidents or damage to the fleet.
  • Oversee insurance and registration documentation for all vehicles.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Provide regular reports on fleet status, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and improve operational processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in operations management or a similar role within the car rental or related industry.
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and networking abilities.
  • Proven ability to leverage industry connections to gain customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in rental management software and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fleet management.
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • English is required; Arabic is a plus.
