Mission of the Role

We are seeking a fundraising operator capable of raising
€1M–€3M
for Skillscaper.

Our
primary fundraising focus is UAE/MENA
, but we are also open to
international investors
(global funds, strategic investors, family offices) when the fit is strong and the candidate can execute efficiently.

This role is hands-on and outcome-driven. It is designed for someone who can personally activate investor conversations, manage the fundraising process end-to-end, and convert momentum into signed term sheets.

This is
not
an advisory-only or broker-only position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a fundraising strategy (UAE/MENA as primary focus, plus international pipeline when relevant)
  • Activate and manage investor relationships in your strongest region(s)
  • Lead fundraising discussions from first meeting to term sheet
  • Coordinate investor follow-ups, data room, and due diligence
  • Work directly with the founder and core team on investor positioning and narrative
  • Maintain a clean pipeline log (one source of truth, clear ownership per investor)

Ideal Profile

  • Strong fundraising network in
    at least one major region
    (UAE/GCC, Europe/UK, India, US/Canada, Asia, etc.)
  • Proven experience raising or placing capital for startups or growth companies
  • Comfortable operating at founder-level ownership and accountability
  • Able to run long-cycle, high-stakes fundraising processes with discipline
  • Strong integrity and execution mindset

(Dubai/UAE location is a plus, but the role is open globally for candidates with a strong network and proven execution.)


Compensation

Performance-based structure aligned with funds raised. Details to be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
