Responsibilities:

Transaction Management:

  • Record and verify daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our accounting system.

Financial Reconciliation and Reporting:

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist in maintaining an accurate general ledger.

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Assist in audit preparations and compliance documentation in line with UAE accounting standards.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.

  • Manage and archive sensitive financial documents, ensuring they are accessible for auditing and review.

Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve workflow efficiencies.

  • Identify and communicate potential areas for cost savings or process enhancements.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay updated on UAE financial regulations and accounting standards.

  • Ensure all financial practices adhere to local regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within a dynamic corporate environment.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations is an advantage.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an eagerness to collaborate within a team.
