SearchPlus HR is excited to present an opportunity for a Cardiac Surgery position. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced cardiac surgeon to join our dynamic medical team. In this role, you will provide expert surgical care for patients with heart disease, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and technologies to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate patients pre-operatively to determine the best surgical approach.
  • Perform a variety of cardiac surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repair and replacement, and congenital heart defect repairs.
  • Lead and participate in the care of patients in the operating room and during follow-up visits to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and physician assistants, to provide the highest level of care.
  • Engage in research and continuous education to stay abreast of the latest developments in cardiac surgery.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) with successful completion of an accredited residency in General Surgery.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery with a current medical license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in cardiac surgery with demonstrated surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • A strong commitment to patient care and a passion for improving cardiovascular health.
