Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves diagnosing and surgically treating congenital and acquired heart conditions in pediatric patients, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.  Key ResponsibilitiesPerform complex cardiac surgeries on infants and children, including congenital defect repairs and valve proceduresConduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-upsCollaborate with pediatric cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to develop individualized treatment plansLead ward rounds and multidisciplinary case discussionsEnsure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocolsParticipate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and public holidaysMentor junior medical staff and contribute to clinical education initiativesEngage in clinical research and continuous medical education (CME) activitiesPromote a culture of safety, quality improvement, and patient-centered care Qualifications & RequirementsMedical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institutionCompletion of residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac SurgeryMinimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric cardiac proceduresHAAD/DOH license or eligibility to practice in the UAETier 1 board certification preferredArabic-speaking or Western-trained candidates highly desirableStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to excellence in surgical outcomes and patient care BenefitsCompetitive salary (AED 80,000–90,000/month depending on experience)Medical insurance and annual leaveEnd-of-service benefits as per UAE labor lawOpportunities for professional development and research
