Adjunct Faculty Position in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Computer Science and Engineering, is seeking to hire an adjunct faculty member for the Spring 2026 semester.

The adjunct will be responsible for teaching two core courses: Fundamental Electrical and Electronics core courses.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. holder in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated ability or potential for excellence in teaching and student engagement.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Commitment to working effectively with a diverse student population.

  • Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements is desirable.

The region:

Located at the mouth of the Gulf, Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) was once the historical capital of the region.
