Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Draftsman for a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will create detailed mechanical and electrical designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Your tasks will include preparing and reviewing technical drawings, collaborating with engineers to meet project specifications, conducting inspections and ensuring designs adhere to regulatory standards, and providing support for mechanical and electrical maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using CAD software (AutoCADor similar).

Develop 2D drawings based on engineering specifications and Review and revise drawings as per engineer or client feedback.

Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company guidelines.

Maintain accurate drawing records and document control.

Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams as required.

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.

Proven experience as a Mechanical CAD Draftsman.

Proficiency in Autocad/similar software.

Strong understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, and materials.

Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Description: Electrical CAD Draftsman

Position: Electrical CAD Draftsman

Department: Engineering / Electrical

Reports To: Electrical Engineer / Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare electrical layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD software.

Draft single-line diagrams (SLD), panel layouts, cable schedules, and lighting layouts.

Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and engineer feedback.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Support project documentation and drawing submissions.

Coordinate with electrical engineers and site teams.

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or Drafting.

Proven experience as an Electrical CAD Draftsman.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tools.

Knowledge of electrical symbols, schematics, and industry standards.

Ability to read and interpret electrical design specifications.
