We are seeking a Results-driven Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in UAE with the following details:

Fulltime

On Site in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Objective:

To manage procurement lifecycle—from sourcing and contract negotiation to performance monitoring. You will ensure that all procurement activities are transparent, cost-effective, and fully aligned with company policies, while proactively mitigating supply chain risks."

Procurement & Sourcing

Manage procurement of hospitality supplies, maintenance materials, and construction-related items

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers

Ensure best value in terms of cost, quality, lead time, and reliability

Develop and maintain an approved vendor list

Hospitality Operations Support

Procure FF&E, OS&E, housekeeping items, amenities, kitchen equipment, and guest-related materials

Work closely with operations teams to ensure no service disruption

Ensure procurement aligns with luxury hospitality standards

Maintenance & Construction Procurement (Handle procurement for):

MEP works

Civil and finishing materials

Spare parts and tools

Preventive and corrective maintenance requirements

Support renovation, fit-out, and new facility projects

Coordinate with maintenance engineers and site supervisors

Inventory & Asset Control

Monitor stock levels across facilities

Ensure proper material receiving, storage, and issuance

Support asset-register updates and material traceability

Minimize wastage, overstocking, and emergency purchases

Documentation & Compliance (Prepare and manage):

Purchase Requests (PRs)

Purchase Orders (POs)

Delivery Notes and Invoices

Ensure compliance with internal policies and approval limits

Maintain proper procurement records for audit and reporting

Cost Control & Reporting

Track procurement spends and support budget control

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

Prepare procurement reports and supplier performance reviews

Candidate Requirements:

Experience

Minimum 5 years of procurement experience

Mandatory experience in:


• Hospitality (hotels, resorts, retreats)


• Maintenance operations


• Construction / fit-out projects

Skills & Knowledge

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Good understanding of:

Hospitality materials & standards

MEP, civil, and maintenance procurement

Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent operational demands

Strong coordination and communication skills

Technical

Proficient in Excel and procurement tracking

Experience with asset registers and inventory systems is a plus

Personality

Proactive and detail-oriented

Cost-conscious but quality-focused

Able to work independently with minimal supervision
