Provide assistance to the procurement team to conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services
Assist manager in negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and vendors
Coordinate with the team to manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring that all purchases are within budget and in compliance with NMC's policies
Collaborate with other departments to identify procurement needs and specifications.
Communicate and maintain relationships with existing suppliers and vendors
Assist to monitor and analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost savings through efficient procurement.
Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts, and provide regular reports on procurement activities
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in procurement

Education and Certification
Knowledge and Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think critically and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Experience
2-3 years of experience in procurement, Healthcare experience in UAE will be an advantage

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, supply chain management or related fields. Master's degree will be an advantage
