Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose

To ensure full compliance with UAE food safety regulations, Dubai Municipality standards, and internal hygiene policies by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures across all food operations.

Key Responsibilities

Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, HACCP, and UAE food safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits of food preparation, storage, and service areas.
  • Monitor food handling, cooking, cooling, and storage procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and food safety records are maintained.

Training & Awareness

  • Conduct food safety and hygiene training for kitchen and service staff.
  • Promote a strong food safety culture across all departments.
  • Train new employees on food safety policies and standard operating procedures.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Prepare inspection reports and corrective action plans for management.
  • Investigate food safety complaints, incidents, or contamination risks.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and followed up.

Supplier & Storage Control

  • Ensure raw material receiving procedures meet food safety standards.
  • Monitor cold chain management and storage temperatures.
  • Verify labeling, shelf life, and FIFO compliance.

Regulatory Coordination

  • Coordinate with Dubai Municipality inspectors during audits and inspections.
  • Ensure timely renewal of food safety permits and certifications.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or related field (preferred).
  • Mandatory HACCP / Food Safety certification.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within hospitality or F&B.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Food Code and Dubai Municipality regulations.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to conduct daily site inspections and stand for long periods.
  • Flexible to work across different locations and shifts if required.
