Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    end-to-end data engineering projects
    from design through deployment and optimization.
  • Build and maintain
    scalable data pipelines, integration frameworks, and analytical environments
    on Azure.
  • Implement and manage
    data governance, data quality, and metadata frameworks
    using Purview and Informatica.
  • Ensure
    high data quality, consistency, and compliance
    across data domains and entities.
  • Collaborate with architects, governance, and analytics teams to align with enterprise data strategy.
  • Mentor and guide junior data engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practices.
  • Drive automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of data infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
    in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 15+ years of professional experience
    in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior/lead capacity.
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Azure Fabric, and Purview.
  • Informatica (PowerCenter / IDQ / Cloud)
    for ETL, data quality, and data integration.
  • SQL, Python, and Spark
    for data transformation and automation.
  • Strong background in
    data modeling, warehousing, MDM, and data lifecycle management.
  • Solid understanding of
    data governance, cataloging, and data stewardship.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A proven record of projects experience in Azure Cloud.
  • Experience in
    government or large public-sector data initiatives is preferred.
  • Certification in
    Microsoft Azure Data Engineer / Architect
    or
    Informatica Data Quality.
  • Familiarity with
    data mesh, data product, and AI/analytics platforms.
