Summary - Highly focused on customer account management and ongoing service, support, and sales development with respective accounts in a defined geography and sector(s) for Professional Sales. This position primarily focuses on service and selling (additional products, tools, and services) to existing accounts with an additional emphasis on new account acquisition. This position will provide service by troubleshooting and offering technical guidance by identifying corrective actions, solving product or application problems, implementing appropriate product applications, and solving other issues impacting customer accounts. This is a direct, customer-facing sales role with the responsibility to retain existing revenues and close new revenue opportunities with both existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management & Customer Engagement

  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned hospitality accounts, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.

  3. Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders, including General Managers, Heads of Department, and Operations Teams, to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Build and nurture long-term customer relationships based on trust, transparency, and measurable results.

  5. Sales Development & Growth

  6. Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning, account development, and effective execution.

  7. Identify white space opportunities within existing accounts and across the defined geography to drive incremental growth.
  8. Introduce new products, innovations, and sustainability-driven solutions that enhance customer efficiency and satisfaction.
  9. Execute prospecting activities to acquire new customers, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis.

  10. Operational & Technical Excellence

  11. Demonstrate in-depth application expertise across cleaning, hygiene, and food safety programs.

  12. Work closely with customers and internal technical teams to ensure flawless implementation and ongoing optimization of solutions.
  13. Deliver customer training and support to enhance product knowledge, operational practices, and safety compliance.
  14. Liaise with the Technical Customer Service (TCS) team to ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.

  15. Business Planning & Reporting

  16. Monitor, track, and report performance metrics using tools such as the sales funnel, quarterly reports, market share analysis, and CRM systems.

  17. Prepare and present account performance summaries and action plans to internal and external stakeholders.
  18. Collaborate with Key Account Managers to ensure alignment and consistency in account management strategies.

  19. Sustainability & Value Delivery

  20. Promote and implement sustainability initiatives related to water, energy, and chemical optimization.

  21. Reinforce Diversey's value proposition and brand equity through measurable customer outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the hospitality or facility management sector.
  • Strong understanding of cleaning and hygiene solutions, sustainability concepts, and operational efficiency metrics.
