Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Manager (CA) to oversee the company's financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our accounting practices. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting standards, and the ability to manage financial reporting, audits, and business performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and intercompany accounts.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide insights to management for decision-making.
  • Support strategic planning by providing financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Audit, Compliance & Taxation

  • Coordinate with external auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Companies Act, GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and ensure timely remittance of statutory dues.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows.
  • Ensure proper accounting policies and procedures are in place and updated regularly.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a financial liaison between management, external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business growth.
  • Manage vendor and client relationships related to billing, collections, and contract terms.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA in Finance is a plus).
  • Minimum 2–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit (post-qualification).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
  • Advanced MS Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
