Civil Supervisor for Swimming Pool

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all phases of swimming pool and water feature construction, from excavation to final inspection.
  • Oversee installation of mechanical systems including pumps, filtration units, plumbing, and lighting specific to water features.
  • Interpret blueprints, construction plans, and hydraulic schematics for pools and complex water elements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, designers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensure that all construction complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Manage site logistics, including materials delivery, equipment usage, and crew scheduling.
  • Monitor quality control and provide on-the-spot guidance or corrections to workers and subcontractors.
  • Report progress regularly to the project manager and flag any delays, safety issues, or cost overruns.
  • Assist with budgeting, procurement, and inventory of construction materials and specialty water feature components.
  • Conduct final inspections and ensure successful turnover to operations or clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school preferred.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in swimming pool or water feature construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, pool hydraulics, waterproofing, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with specialized water features
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, concrete, tile, and structural systems as they relate to pools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of automated pool control systems and programmable water features.
  • Experience with residential luxury pools or commercial aquatic facilities.
