Product Specialist – Cardiology
to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will contribute to NKME's mission of being the No.1 medical solution provider in the region by driving product knowledge, market development, and customer engagement across cardiology and resuscitation solutions.
Job Purpose & Objectives
In line with Nihon Kohden's philosophy of contributing to society through healthcare, the
Product Specialist
plays a key role in developing and executing marketing and product strategies that support sales growth and customer satisfaction.
This role involves:
- Developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
- Evaluating customer research, market conditions, and competitor data, and adapting plans accordingly.
- Managing all aspects of product promotion, clinical training, and sales support.
Essential Criteria
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Create and deliver training programs to upskill internal sales staff.
- Develop product and solution-selling materials to enhance partner knowledge.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of Nihon Kohden's medical solutions.
- Understand both the strengths and weaknesses of NK products and competitors.
- Identify customer needs and use NK technology to deliver practical, value-driven solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, exhibitions, and new market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the territory.
- Provide feedback to NKME and HQ on market needs to support new product development.
- Understand market volume, share, and trends to enhance sales strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to achieve company objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all NKME teams to establish NKME as a regional leader in medical solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Resuscitation and Cardiology products, including defibrillators, AEDs, ECGs, and related consumables.
- Oversee product-related business activities including branding, marketing, clinical training, and strategy planning.
- Analyze sales funnels and opportunities for the Resuscitation & Cardiology product line, identifying actions to improve performance.
- Manage clinical support before and after sales to ensure optimal product use and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and conduct annual and ad-hoc training sessions for NKME sales teams, distributors, and end users.
- Conduct on-site workshops and demonstrations for customers and distributors.
- Travel within NKME territories to deliver trainings, customer visits, and post-sales support.
- Attend and support regional and international trade shows such as Arab Health, MEDICA, and Africa Health.
- Lead product launches, including creating PowerPoint presentations, campaign materials, and launch documentation.
- Submit customer visit reports to the Marketing Manager within three days after each trip and update activities in CRM daily.
- Maintain regular communication with HQ regarding market trends, new product launches, and global strategies.
- Utilize sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure product growth and profitability.
- Support product registration and compliance activities before launch.
- Present market analyses, sales reviews, and business updates during company kick-off sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in medical devices, preferably in cardiology, resuscitation, or patient monitoring.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, market analysis, and clinical applications.
- Proven experience delivering trainings and product demonstrations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
