Reports To: CEO

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance and accounting

operations of Client Company from the Global Office in Dubai. The role is hands-on and

execution-focused, covering financial control, accounting, reporting, cash management,

budgeting support, and coordination with finance contacts across Client Company subsidiaries.

This role suits a practical finance professional who can manage numbers, controls, and

reporting accurately, support management decisions, and ensure financial discipline across a

growing group structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Operations and Accounting

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger, journals,

reconciliations, and month-end close.

• Ensure accurate recording of income, expenses, accruals, and inter company

transactions.

• Maintain proper financial documentation and supporting schedules.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.

• Support consolidation of financial information across subsidiaries where required.

• Ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and clearly presented.

Budgeting and Cost Control

• Support preparation and tracking of budgets and forecasts.

• Monitor actual spend against budget and highlight variances.

• Assist management with cost control and financial discipline.

Cash Flow and Payments

• Monitor cash balances and manage day-to-day cash flow requirements.

• Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely processing of vendor and operational

payments.

• Track receivables and follow up on outstanding balances where applicable.

Compliance and Controls

• Ensure compliance with basic financial controls, internal processes, and approvals.

• Coordinate statutory filings, audits, and regulatory requirements with external

accountants and auditors.

• Ensure compliance with UAE financial, tax, and regulatory requirements, including

VAT where applicable.

Payroll and Expense Support

• Coordinate with HR and payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll processing.

• Review staff expense claims and ensure compliance with internal policies.

• Support end-of-service and final settlement calculations in coordination with HR.

Coordination with Subsidiaries

• Act as the central finance coordination point with finance contacts in subsidiaries in

India, USA, and São Tomé.

• Support intercompany reconciliations and reporting consistency.

• Collect financial data and reports from subsidiaries as required by management.

Finance Records and Systems

• Maintain finance systems, accounting tools, and spreadsheets.

• Ensure financial records are properly filed, secure, and audit ready.

• Support improvements to finance processes, templates, and reporting tools.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 7 years of finance or accounting experience, with hands-on exposure in

the UAE.

• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience managing multi-entity or group accounts is an advantage.

• Familiarity with UAE regulatory requirements and VAT is preferred.

• Background in technology, fintech, or professional services is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
