Key Responsibilities:*

  • Business Requirement Specification: Data Analyst to document the BRS/BRD for the EPIC/use case being implemented and obtain the sign off from the business with the support of DM Data team.
  • Use-Case Selection: Working with the business stakeholders, the Data Analyst must Identify and prioritize use-cases based on strategic importance, engaging with key stakeholders to align on project goals.
  • Sprint Planning: Work with the Scrum Master and the technical leads to conduct detailed meetings to discuss and prioritize user stories, leading to the creation of the initial Product Backlog.
  • Data Product Backlog management: Review and refine the Data Product Backlog and BRD based on stakeholder feedback, followed by submission for final approval.
  • Data Analysis: Data analysts need to be able to clean and transform data to make it suitable for analysis. This involves skills such as data cleaning, data integration, and data transformation.
  • Communication Skills: Data analysts must be able to communicate their findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Business Acumen: Data analysts need to understand the business context in which their analysis is being conducted.
  • Project Risks Assessment and documentation: Analyzing and validating requirements before the execution phase to identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle. This proactive approach reduces the likelihood of delays, scope changes, and other issues that could impact project success.
  • Figma Design validation: Work with the UI/UX team to ensure Figma design matches business requirements and aligns with visualization Design guidelines.

  • Education: Graduate with applied mathematics and statistics
  • Analytical Skills: Data analysts need to be able to analyse and interpret complex data sets, so strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Bilingual: Data analysts need to be able to fluently communicate and document in both English and Arabic.
  • Technical Skills: Data analysts should be proficient in using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, and data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI. They should also have a basic understanding of database structures, data warehousing, and ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes.
  • Statistical Analysis: Data analysts need to be familiar with statistical methods and techniques for analysing and interpreting data, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and clustering.
  • Data Wrangling: Data analysts need to be able to clean and transform data to make it suitable for analysis. This involves skills such as data cleaning, data integration, and data transformation.
  • Communication Skills: Data analysts must be able to communicate their findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders, so strong communication skills are essential.
  • Business Acumen: Data analysts need to understand the business context in which their analysis is being conducted. This includes understanding the goals of the business and the impact thattheirfindings will have on the organization.
  • Problem Solving: Data analysts need to be able to identify problems and find solutions to those problems through data analysis.
  • Attention to Detail: Data analysts must have strong attention to detail to ensure thattheir analysis is accurate and reliable.
  • Adaptability: Data analysts need to be able to adapt to new tools and technologies, as well as changing business needs and priorities
