About the Client
We are sourcing on behalf of a client in the hospitality and leisure industry. They focus on operations management and delivering quality guest experiences across their facilities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various operational functions.
About the role:
Work with a wide range of stakeholders from other functional areas including HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Procurement, Development and Asset Management. The goal of internal communications is to inform, influence, and engage. The purpose is to build trust in the workplace, improve knowledge sharing, empower employees, and create a synergy that gets everyone on board with the company's overall goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a group internal communications strategy in close coordination with all partners and stakeholders
- Build and implement innovative communication and change culture strategies and plans
- Ensure business strategies, initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders effectively and efficiently
- Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as teams, monthly CEO email bulletin, monthly or quarterly newsletter, any other creative ideas, while also working on the layout of content
- Develop and lead creative internal communications plans and ideas
- Communicate major announcements internally
- Develop and continuously update company profile presentation
- Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums
- Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages and with business goals and objectives
- Work with external comms team on crisis and issues management content when/if needed internally
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization
- Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organisation, either face to face or through regular written communication
- Develop and execute Miral Corporate CSR initiatives and programmes, ensuring alignment with overall Group CSR strategy
- Identify existing and new stakeholders and partners for CSR programming
- Align with all subsidiaries as well as tracking and reviewing the effective delivery of the agreed plan and strategy, work with stakeholders to ensure the best methods for community involvement
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate Degree in related subject or equivalent experience
- 5 -15 years of experience in Organizational communication
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with stakeholders and different departments within the company. You also need to possess the confidence to deal with senior executives and explain communication techniques to them
- Creative ability to devise communication strategies effectively
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees
- Fluent English both written and spoken
