Account Executive Job Description - Michelin Tires (Al Fahim Group - Al Ain, Abu Dhabi)

This role focuses on driving sales, managing relationships with key clients, and ensuring the profitable operation of the assigned accounts within the Al Ain territory.

Position Details

Job Title: Accounts Executive (Michelin Tires)

Location: Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Eastern Motors/Tire Plus Division)

Reporting To: Sales Manager/Division Head

Brand Focus: Michelin Tires

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Business Development

Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Michelin tires and related services within the Al Ain territory.

New Business Generation: Actively seek out and qualify new business opportunities with fleet operators, corporate clients, government accounts, and key dealerships.

Upselling/Cross-selling: Identify and convert opportunities to upsell and cross-sell the full range of Michelin products and services (e.g., connected services, maintenance contracts) to existing clients.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close agreements with major accounts to maximize profits and ensure long-term partnerships.

  1. Account Management and Relationship Building

Client Relationship Lead: Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned key accounts, building strong, long-lasting, and trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Customer Needs Assessment: Deeply understand customers' business needs, fleet requirements, and performance gaps to propose tailored Michelin solutions.

Service Delivery: Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and solutions according to customer needs and objectives, coordinating closely with the operations and aftersales teams.

Issue Resolution: Promptly and effectively resolve customer conflicts, inquiries, and escalations.

  1. Market Analysis and Reporting

Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, market activities, competitor positioning, and pricing strategies in the Al Ain tire market.

Performance Monitoring: Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results, annual forecasts, revenue) and prepare detailed reports on account status for management.

Inventory/Forecasting: Collaborate with inventory and finance teams to ensure product availability and accurate demand forecasting.

  1. Operational and Financial Discipline

Credit Control: Manage accounts receivables for assigned clients within company guidelines.

Process Compliance: Ensure all sales, financial, and customer data capture processes adhere to Al Fahim Group and Michelin standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

-Education: A Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or a relevant field is generally preferred.

Experience:

-Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Sales and Account Management within the Automotive, Engineering Parts, or Tire Sales industries is highly preferred.

-Proven track record of managing and growing B2B or fleet accounts.

Skills:

-Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (fluency in English is essential; Arabic is often an asset).

-Strong business and sales acumen with a client-focused approach.

-Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).

Valid UAE Driving License is typically required.

-Proven ability to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
