About Your Team

Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, you'll lead a team of Commissioning Foremen and collaborate with design engineers, QA/QC teams, and OEM representatives to achieve project success.

Your Role

As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Undertaking any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by your manager, commensurate with the role and aligned with the needs of the business.
• Participating in design- and constructability-reviewing sessions to embed commissioning logic early.
• Preparing project-specific commissioning strategies, plans and detailed test scripts in line with specs, codes and industry standards.
• Conducting inspections, pre-functional checks (L1-L2) and functional performance tests (L3-L4); verifying system readiness for integrated testing (L5).
• Analysing trend data and test results; identifying deviations and drive corrective actions to maintain schedule and system integrity.
• Troubleshooting technical issues in collaboration with design engineers, suppliers and OEM representatives.
• Coordinating delivery, installation and start-up of equipment to meet programme milestones.
• Attending commissioning coordination meetings; aligning daily activities with QA/QC, construction and project-controls teams.
• Compiling and submitting commissioning documentation (test reports, punch lists, recommendations) for client / consultant review.
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians, sharing technical knowledge and best practice.
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by your manager, commensurate with the role and aligned with the needs of the business.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in MEP commissioning and testing processes.
• Proven expertise in functional performance testing and troubleshooting.

Knowledge

• Working knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning methods, and regional codes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and develop test procedures.

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools (Primavera/MS Project preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines.
