Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for an Entrepreneur in Residence (Accounting). The individual in this role will be expected to guide and execute strategic financial processes, provide expert financial analysis, and support organizational decision-making. Key responsibilities include financial planning, preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and strategic growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficient in accounting software and related tools, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, standards, and compliance regulations
  • Ability to analyze financial data and create detailed reports for decision-making
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Experience with team leadership and collaborating in professional environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven experience in senior or management-level roles in accounting or related fields
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently in a remote setup
