Role: Macro Research Analyst (Dubai | On-site)

We are hiring a
Macro Research Analyst
to support our investment team and Fund Manager across the long/short equity book. The role involves building actionable
macro views and translating macro data, geopolitical events, and earnings insights into clear investment and trading opportunities.

The ideal candidate can connect the dots between economic data, rates/bonds, FX, sector rotation, and equity fundamentals, and deliver research that is concise, decision-useful, and timely.

Key Responsibilities


• Conduct macro research across global markets with a focus on
US equities


• Track and interpret
economic indicators, central bank policy, inflation, growth, and rates


•
Analyse earnings, company results, and management commentary (con-calls)
and link them to macro themes


• Monitor geopolitical developments and assess impacts on equities, rates, commodities, and risk sentiment


• Build and maintain data dashboards/models to support macro views and scenario analysis


• Produce high-quality research notes and actionable trade ideas for the Fund Manager


• Support portfolio decision-making across long and short positions (catalysts, risks, timing)

Qualifications / Requirements


• Strong macro knowledge with solid understanding of how macro drivers impact equities


• Strong ability to interpret earnings, con-calls, and company-level fundamentals


• Good understanding of geopolitics and its correlation to rates/bonds, FX, and commodities


• Strong quantitative/data skills (ability to gather, clean, analyse data and present insights clearly)


• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field


•
4–7 years of experience in hedge funds / asset management / institutional research (macro + equities preferred)


• Strong written communication and ability to deliver structured, decision-ready research in a fast-paced environment
