We are seeking a
Research & Business Analyst
to join a fast-growing service marketplace platform in the UAE. This role plays a critical part in identifying new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, evaluating services, and delivering strategic insights that drive platform growth.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking, digital research expertise, and a solid understanding of the UAE/GCC service economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging service verticals and growth opportunities across the UAE/GCC region.
- Analyze competitor platforms, pricing strategies, service models, and digital presence to identify gaps and differentiation opportunities.
- Monitor consumer behavior, service adoption trends, and demand patterns across multiple industries.
- Perform digital and physical market performance analysis to assess competitor visibility and market positioning.
- Evaluate potential business partnerships, vendors, and service providers.
- Prepare data-driven reports, dashboards, and presentations covering market size, growth potential, and risk analysis.
- Provide strategic recommendations for service expansion, bundling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Support leadership with feasibility studies, business cases, and go-to-market strategies.
- Stay updated on regulatory, compliance, and policy developments relevant to Dubai and UAE service industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
- 3–5 years of experience in market research, business analysis, or strategy consulting.
- Prior experience in digital platforms, e-commerce, or service marketplaces is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the UAE/GCC market landscape and consumer service sectors.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver insights in a fast-paced environment.
