We are seeking an exceptional Consultant General Surgeon to join our dedicated surgical team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality surgical care to our patients, and we require a skilled surgeon who can bring expertise and compassion to our practice. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring surgical interventions, and you will play an integral part in their surgical journey from pre-operative evaluations to post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed assessments and physical examinations of patients to determine surgical needs
  • Conduct various general surgical procedures with precision and safety
  • Manage comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process, including pre-operative and post-operative management
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and recovery expectations
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in general surgery and implement best practices in clinical care
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions and surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of residency training in General Surgery
  • Board certification in General Surgery is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a consultant role
  • Proficiency in a wide range of general surgical techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients effectively
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
