WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Process Engineer ensures optimal operation of all production equipment across the facilities by improving process efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This role drives continuous improvement, leads Lean initiatives, manages projects, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and operational performance.

Your most critical deliverables for this role are:

• Consults the Plant management and Engineering teams to initiate, develop, justify, plan and implement new equipment and capital improvements projects;
• Implement a continuous improvement approach to optimize production performance;
• Is trained/utilizes Lean methodologies to identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities with product, quality and production processes;
• Reviews all processes for improvement opportunities and efficiency gains
• Works with all plant departments to follow process modifications, engineering changes, equipment upgrades.
• Initiates and follows trials, and maintains records;
• Provides support and expertise in shutdown planning;
• Develops methods to improve operating conditions of plant equipment;
• Keeps up-to-date with technology advancements and equipment design;
• Manage continuous improvement projects, from concept to commissioning;
• Demonstrate the ability to provide viable solutions to operational challenges by conducting root cause analysis and integrating improvements;
• Establish production standards.
• Measure the efficiency of the manufacturing process by analyzing different production campaigns.
• Performs all other additional projects and duties as assigned by the management

WHO YOU ARE

Your colleagues describe you as someone who takes accountability for their actions, is respectful of others, and remains resilient in the face of change. In addition, you also have:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree preferably in Polymers, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or other relevant field
• Minimum 4-5 years' experience in masterbatch industry
• 4-5 years of prior experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies and project management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
