Job Title: Compensation & Benefits ManagerDepartment: People & CultureReports To: Head of Back OfficeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead the development and execution of our Total Rewards strategy. This role will shift the company from reactive compensation decisions to a data-driven, structured, and scalable approach.You will be our internal expert for all C&B matters while also supporting the broader People team during peak periods. This is the perfect role for someone who is a specialist with a generalist's heart —comfortable owning complex rewards programs but agile enough to support recruiting or HR operations when needed. Key Responsibilities1. Daily & Weekly OperationsConduct job pricing and provide salary band recommendations using market data.Manage employee inquiries related to benefits, insurance, leave, and equity programs.Review payroll inputs (bonuses, commissions, deductions) to ensure 100% accuracy.Maintain accurate HRIS data, acting as the "source of truth" for all compensation information.2. Monthly & Quarterly AnalysisReview and validate sales commission data; calculate payouts and identify discrepancies.Manage vendor relationships and review benefit utilization to find cost-saving opportunities.Track workforce cost trends and collaborate with Finance on labor cost vs. budget variances.3. Annual Strategic CyclesLead the annual salary review and merit cycle, including manager training and system setup.Oversee market benchmarking and salary survey participation (e.g., Mercer, Radford).Drive annual benefits renewal and negotiate with providers for optimal pricing and coverage.Partner with leadership to design the corporate bonus plan (KPIs, payout ranges, eligibility).4. Team Agility & SupportSupport recruitment during hiring spikes (CV screening, initial interviews, scheduling).Backfill general HR operations (onboarding, employee relations basics, event support) when needed.Join final interview panels to advise on compensation alignment and cultural fit. Qualifications5–7+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on Compensation, Benefits, or Total Rewards.Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, financial modeling).Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Deep knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations related to compensation and benefits.Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving HR environment .
