Role Overview

We are looking for a
Safety Engineer with hands-on experience in Facilities Management or Real Estate
to support a short-term project in Dubai. The role is site-based and focused on day-to-day HSE supervision, inspections, compliance follow-up, and coordination with FM and property teams to maintain safe working conditions across the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular
    HSE inspections and audits
    across:
  • Commercial buildings
  • Office premises
  • Residential and mixed-use properties
  • Ensure compliance with
    UAE HSE regulations
    , client requirements, and site safety procedures
  • Review, implement, and monitor
    Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS)
    and
    Permit-to-Work systems
  • Identify unsafe acts or conditions and follow up on corrective actions
  • Support incident reporting and basic investigations
    when required
  • Coordinate with:
  • Facilities Management teams
  • Property / Real Estate management teams
  • Maintenance and service contractors
  • Monitor implementation of:
  • Fire and Life Safety requirements
  • Electrical, mechanical, and civil safety controls
  • Prepare
    daily and weekly HSE reports
  • Deliver toolbox talks and on-site safety briefings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline
  • 2–5 years of HSE experience
    in Facilities Management or Real Estate / Property Management
  • Good understanding of:
  • FM and property-related safety risks
  • Contractor safety management
  • Permit-to-Work systems
  • Working knowledge of
    Dubai and UAE HSE regulations
  • Ability to work independently and meet short project timelines

Preferred Certifications

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
  • IOSH (Managing Safely / Working Safely)
  • First Aid and Fire Safety certifications (an advantage)
