Job DescriptionSafety Engineer Parsons Corporation Dubai, UAEbr>Position Overviewbr>Safety Engineer roles in Dubai infrastructure and transportation projects play a critical role in protecting people, assets, and project continuity. As a Safety Engineer with Parsons Corporation in Dubai, UAE, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental systems across highway, bridge, and underpass projects, ensuring full compliance with corporate standards, UAE legislation, and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement corporate HSE policies, approved HSE plans, and applicable HSE legislation across assigned projectsMonitor site HSE performance and safety targets and recommend continuous improvement measuresEnsure full compliance with client safety requirements at all project stagesLiaise with safety managers and contractors to support effective implementation of corporate HSE management practicesMonitor contractors to ensure site activities comply with legal, client, and corporate safety requirementsReview site safety plans, emergency response plans, method statements, and risk assessments for all construction activitiesConduct regular HSE inspections and report findings to the Resident Engineer for immediate corrective actionReview and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspection reports and performance recordsLead and conduct monthly safety meetings, define corrective action targets, and prepare meeting minutes for follow-upReview emergency preparedness procedures, permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, and contractor HSE statistics and recordsReview incident and accident investigation reports, communicate lessons learned, and track corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrenceDesired Candidate ProfileIdeal ProfileBachelor s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a construction-related engineering disciplineMinimum 8 years of experience as a Safety Engineer on highway, bridge, or underpass projects within the UAERecognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, Safety Diploma, First Aid, and Fire SafetyStrong working knowledge of UAE Federal Laws, Dubai Municipality Code of Construction Safety Practice, RTA Circulars, and Work Zone Traffic Management ManualGood communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with site teams and contractorsISO audit qualifications or training such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 are an advantageAbility to attend physical interviews in the UAE
