A building construction project engineer plans, coordinates, and oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Project planning and management: Develop project plans, prepare budgets, and manage the project schedule.
  • Technical oversight: Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations and codes.
  • Collaboration and communication: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Site supervision: Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage project documents, such as RFIs (Requests for Information) and submittals, and generate progress reports.
  • Budget and contract management: Monitor project costs and administer contractor contracts.
  • Problem-solving: Identify and resolve issues that could impact the project's schedule or budget.
  • Compliance and permits: Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.

Job requirements

  • 5-10 years of experiences in UAE.
  • Bachelor degree in civil engineering.
  • Experience in construction sector (Building and towers).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7, AED9,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
