Project Engineer / Sr.Project Engineer

Leading the Control and Automation projects - independently handling PLC / SCADA projects on Siemens / Rockwell / Scheider Platform and assisting the project Team, working along with various internal & external project stakeholders in delivering the multiple projects until handover.

The Project Engineer focuses on implementing a previously designed system at the customer location, under the direction of the Project Manager, based on the contract.

· Understand the project dynamics, its objective, & process. Conduct system study with customer, understand customer requirement, prepares all necessary document for the project, engineering, and software development after system study. Complete the Project tasks in the given timeline and budgeted hours.

· Prepare the Project Schedule, scope / supply / technical specification / control specification /

detail documentation for the project as per our standard / customer standards. Share Project schedule to other stake holders of the project and provide necessary support to meet the deadlines.

· Prepare the I/O listing / consolidated BOM/ SOP / Flowchart and all the documents related to

project.

· Providing necessary inputs to design team to complete the engineering in time. Verify all the engineering documents (GA / Wiring drawings/IO list / BOM /Cable Chart etc.,) and provide internal approval for customer submission.

· Provide internal document approval and get approval from customer for engineering drawings and other documents related to Programming / software development.

· Develop PLC software programs and SCADA design as per the customer requirement within the stipulated time for the project over Siemens / Rockwell / Scheider Platform.

· Test the panels / system, software and do integrated testing – generate internal test report for customer.

· Arrange for FAT as per the project schedule with customer and incorporate the points given by customer during FAT in the project. Taking care of the customer/guest courteously while they are at our premises.

· Get dispatch clearance from customer and Issue dispatch instruction to commercial department – with any special instructions.

· Obtain the Technical specifications / competitive quote for third party items,validating

specification thoroughly before ordering.

· Responsible for integrated testing of the control system.

· Coordinate with production department for error free/ Rework free /high quality products / Bug free software and obtaining utmost satisfaction of customer.

· Coordinate for Factory acceptance test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

· Responsible for implementation during the commission phase within the stipulated timeand

maintenance of the software in client's location during warranty period.

· Coordinate with Marketing / Design team / Production team for smooth execution of the project.

· Responsible for maintaining all the necessary documents/ records/software's in the server up

to date.

· Should adhere to all Internal systems & processes.

· Should adhere to all ISO documentation requirements.
