About the Role

We are looking for a
dynamic and technically versatile Pre-Sales Manager who can lead solution design, customer engagement, and proposal development across AI, IT, software, hardware, and infrastructure domains
. The ideal candidate combines strong technical competency with commercial acumen—able to translate complex requirements into winning solutions while maintaining excellent customer and vendor relationships.

This role requires a well-rounded professional experienced in pre-sales, account management, sales operations, technical documentation, customer experience design, lead generation, and bidding, with the ability to perform under pressure and support the closing of annual sales targets. Prior hands-on experience in technology, engineering, or solution delivery is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Technical Proposal Development

  • Design end-to-end solutions involving AI platforms, cloud architecture, enterprise IT, software systems, and hardware components.
  • Develop technical architectures, customer journey maps, and solution blueprints.
  • Produce high-quality technical write-ups, RFP responses, POCs, and bid documentation.
  • Ensure proposals cover all layers: application, software design, hardware sizing, networking, and infrastructure.

Customer Engagement, Account Management & Sales Support

  • Act as the technical lead in customer meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions.
  • Manage customer relationships throughout the sales cycle, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
  • Support sales with direct customer handling, opportunity qualification, and executive-level presentations.
  • Contribute to lead generation, opportunity development, and closing annual revenue numbers.
  • Maintain the ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and implementation partners.
  • Coordinate vendor technical inputs, pricing, and compliance documents for proposals.
  • Evaluate vendor technologies and align them with customer requirements and project scopes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, product, delivery, and project management teams to ensure technical accuracy and seamless handover.
  • Provide product feedback based on customer insights and market demand.
  • Support marketing by contributing technical content for case studies, brochures, white papers, and presentations.

Technology, Infrastructure & Market Expertise

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity, networking, data platforms, and enterprise IT systems.
  • Understand infrastructure design, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and DR strategies.
  • Stay aware of competitor offerings and market trends across the UAE and GCC.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of combined experience in:
  • Pre-sales and solution engineering
  • Account and customer relationship management
  • Sales support and yearly target closure
  • Technical bidding, RFP responses, and proposal development
  • Software design, hardware design, and IT infrastructure
  • Previous hands-on technical experience (software development, infrastructure, cloud, or hardware systems) is highly preferred.
  • Strong vendor and partner management experience.
  • PMI or similar project management certification is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and solution design capability.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.
  • High attention to detail with outstanding documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Strong commercial understanding, customer experience awareness, and structured thinking.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UAE government procurement frameworks and complex bidding processes.
