About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-driven growth funding in the UAE. This is an exciting opportunity for a competitive and analytical professional eager to leverage cutting-edge machine learning technology to drive investment decisions. As a Financial Analyst at Liquidity, you will be an integral part of the global credit team, actively contributing to the deal cycle, supporting investment strategies, and providing financial insights using Liquidity's proprietary technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to business models, financial statements, the debt funding landscape, and the global startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Due Diligence & Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential debt and equity investments using our advanced machine learning platform, delivering critical insights and recommendations to the credit team and investment managers.
- Financial Analysis & Monitoring: Conduct monitoring to track portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and overall financial stability.
- Collections Management: Manage the collections process for investment funds, ensuring timely and efficient collection.
- AI Platform Development: Collaborate with the Product Team to support the development and continuous improvement of AI-powered platforms designed to optimize investment analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, credit analysis, investment analysis, or a closely related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills, strong knowledge of corporate finance, and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and venture capital landscape is an advantage.
- A proactive, results-driven attitude with a passion for financial technology and innovation.
