Job Title: Civil Engineer - Site Supervisor (Aluminum & Glass) & Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision:
  • Oversee and supervise daily operations on construction sites.
  • Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and meets safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
  • Inspect construction work to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Quantity Surveying:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and material take-offs for aluminum and glass-related projects.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure that they align with the budget.
  • Track material usage and manage procurement of necessary supplies.
  • Perform value engineering and cost analysis to optimize project efficiency and budget.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project status to management.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that work meets all specifications and standards.
  • Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed on-site.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including site diaries, reports, and progress photos.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation for approval.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, Site Supervisor, or Quantity Surveyor (at least 3 years).
  • Knowledge and experience in aluminum and glass works is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, cost management, and quantity surveying techniques.
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
