Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Al Ain for a Planning Engineer -Infrastructure. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion, analyzing project requirements, and planning for resources and manpower. The role will also involve managing project control activities, generating progress reports, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets while maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules for infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, drainage systems, and other civil works.

Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Design Teams to ensure project timelines are realistic and achievable.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and propose corrective measures to keep projects on track.

Prepare periodic progress reports, including Gantt charts, resource allocation, and milestone tracking for senior management.

Review contractor schedules and provide feedback to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.

Assist in planning and coordinating resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.

Support management in project planning meetings, providing technical input and updates.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure planning within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project management and scheduling software.

Strong understanding of infrastructure project execution, including roads, drainage, utilities, and related civil works.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Immediate availability or ability to join on short notice
