- **Degree**: Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.), Quality Management, or Science.
- **Experience**: 5-15+ years in QA/QC, with several years in a managerial/leadership role, often on large projects or within specific industries (e.g., Oil & Gas, Construction).

Key Certifications & Knowledge
- **Auditing**: ISO 9001/45001/14001 Lead Auditor certification is highly valued.
- **Standards**: Familiarity with AIAG, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, etc. (especially in manufacturing).
- **Industry-Specific**: NDT certifications (ASNT Level III) for NDT roles, or marine operations for marine QA/QC.

Essential Skills & Competencies
- **Leadership**: Strong management, team supervision, and interpersonal skills.
- **Technical**: Deep understanding of quality principles, technical writing, data analysis, and relevant industry codes/standards (e.g., Electrical codes).
- **Problem Solving**: Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA, and implementing Corrective Actions (CAPA).
- **Software**: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and quality management software.
