**Key Roles and Responsibilities**

Ø Be our Subject Matter Expert for QHSE matters.

Ø Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Enviroserve’s compliance with statutory requirements, and contractual requirements and good industry practice

Ø Maintain awareness of evolving industry QHSE regulations and best practice and how they could be applied to Enviroserve’s operations

Ø Develop, implement and improve QHSE management systems, processes and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001.

Ø Design safety, health, and environmental programs (JSAs, Training Matrices, Industrial Hygiene, PPE, Electrical Safety, PtW etc.) for the site and implement them effectively.

Ø Develop and prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the BD / Operations team.

Ø Liaise with Customers and Supply Chain, regarding QHSE matters, ensuring their expectations are met.

Ø Undertake QHSE inspections internally and with third parties (downstream vendors) as per the approved inspection program of the company. Follows up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.

Ø Develop, facilitate and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the various facility team.

Ø Identify and record QHSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and issue reports on a monthly basis.

Ø Develop, implement and encourage behavioural based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.

Ø Identify facility wide training needs and conduct QHSE training courses using internal and external resources when required

Ø Perform daily HSE walk throughs of the facility to monitor and promote a safe workplace.

Ø Lead HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports.

Ø Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her manager.

**Required Skills and Experience**

Ø A minimum of 5 years of experience in health & safety in an operational facility setting.

Ø Diligent with great attention to detail, and good organizational skills.

Ø Expert with International Standards such as ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015

Ø Expert on local UAE environmental health and safety regulations.

Ø Strong analytical and leadership skills, and proactive vision to make new changes that will positively affect the organization creating safe work culture.

Ø Excellent in writing incident and investigation reports, and policies for health and safety.

Ø Excellent communication skills, ability to engage internal & external stakeholders.

**Education Level**

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Safety/Industrial Engineering/Environmental science or a relevant field.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
