Reservation Supervisor

The Reservation Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring all bookings are handled efficiently and accurately. This role involves supervising the reservations team, coordinating with other departments to meet guests’ needs, and maximizing room occupancy and revenue. Supervise and support the reservations team in handling bookings and inquiries.

Monitor reservation systems and ensure all bookings are recorded accurately.

Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to bookings.

Coordinate with the front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Train and mentor reservations staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Prepare reports on reservation activities and performance metrics.

Manage inventory and room availability in the reservation system.

Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all reservation activities.

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.

Proven experience in hotel reservations or a related field.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Proficiency in reservation systems and hotel management software.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.

Knowledge of local attractions and hotel services.
