Guest Reception:• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.• Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate recording of reservations.• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.2. Seating Management:• Maintain awareness of table availability, server assignments, and specialrequests.• Optimize seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences andmaximize efficiency.• Monitor and manage the waiting list during peak hours.3. Communication:• Effectively communicate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff tocoordinate seating and service.• Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations.• Relay special requests or accommodations to the appropriate staff.4. Guest Relations:• Anticipate and address guest needs during their waiting period.• Handle guest inquiries, comments, and concerns with professionalism andcourtesy.• Ensure a positive first impression and excellent guest experience.5. Reservation Management:• Answer phone calls, assist with reservations, and provide information about themenu and restaurant policies.• Confirm reservations and follow up with guests regarding any changes.• Maintain an organized and efficient reservation book or system.6. Cleanliness and Organization:• Keep the host/hostess station clean, organized, and well-stocked withnecessary supplies.• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the receptionand dining areas
