**Job Summary**:
The Commis II - Pizza Maker assists in daily kitchen operations, focusing on the preparation of pizzas and related items according to Marina Café’s recipes and standards. The role involves supporting senior chefs, maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and ensuring smooth workflow in the kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities:A. Pizza Maker Duties**:

- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and bake pizzas as per standard recipes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation for every pizza.
- Operate pizza ovens safely and ensure correct baking temperatures and timing.
- Prepare ingredients daily (cutting vegetables, meats, cheeses, sauces, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness of the pizza section and all tools/equipment.
- Check inventory for pizza ingredients and report shortages.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Assist in creating and testing new pizza recipes under the Sous Chef’s guidance.

**B. General Commis II Duties**:

- Support senior chefs in food preparation and service across all sections when needed.
- Maintain mise en place (preparation before service).
- Follow kitchen SOPs and portion control standards.
- Keep workstations organized and sanitized at all times.
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing supplies properly (FIFO method).
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness.
- Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Learn and develop cooking skills to progress to higher kitchen positions.
- Ensure punctuality, teamwork, and professional behavior at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pizza Maker or Commis in a busy restaurant or café.
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, oven operation, and food hygiene.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

**Position Level**:
Commis II - Grade 5B

**Salary & Benefits**:
